Roy James Beal

	Roy James Beal, 94, of Centralia, passed away at 11:45 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2001 at Centralia Manor.
	He was born April 4, 1907 in Washington County, the son of Walter Christian and Rebecca (Kennedy) Beal.  He married Mary Storment on April 4, 1931 in Centralia and she preceded him in death on September 1, 2000.  Mr. Beal was a resident of Centralia all his life.
	Mr. Beals major lifes work was with the Centralia Baking Company, in the bread wrapping department.  He later worked for the Hindman Manufacturing Company until his retirement in 1972.  He was a member of Demaree United Methodist Church in Centralia and the Bakers Union.
	Surviving are two daughters, Shirley J. Holt of Springfield, Mo. and Nora Jane Jackson and husband Bob of DuQuoin; three grandchildren, Kevin Holt and wife Jean of St. Louis, Mo., Chris Holt and wife Susan of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Jane Ellen Klosterman and husband Michael of Charlotte, N.C.; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
	Mr. Beal was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; two brothers, Philip Dewey Beal and Oscar Beal and three sisters, Alta Abrams, Mabel Bonner and Ruby Hirsch.
	Funeral services were Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Pacey Funeral Home in Centralia with Rev. Brad Henson officiating.  Interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
	Friends called Wednesday from 12 p.m. until time of services at the Pacey Funeral Home in Centralia.
	Memorials may be made to the Demaree United Methodist Church Building Fund.
